yeah, what someone buys is generally not indicative of anything. save for a few hard to find pieces and stuff like leathers, i recycle all the time. just sold a jil leather cause i bought a dick leather. sold a raf overcoat cause I bought a viridi one. i probably have 5-6 buttoned shirts, 8-10 tees, 4-5 jeans and 4-5 pairs of pants at any given time. the rest gets sold to buy new stuff.

I don't think its worth 2k but I could see it being worth 1200-1500. I guess it's different for everyone. I've seen watches for 1k that I like better but some people would disagree.

some stores in ny will try to beat every price, especially now. i think i saw it online for $1600 so a little less is not a surprise. my friend is looking for a new watch so we looked around that price for some time. i wear my $60 swatch all the time (and just bought the black leather nolex)

what do you mean? movement and hardware wise? if so, definitely, but i didn't buy it as an acquisition timepiece cause i've already invested in something else from years before. i just like how it looks. this is just a play watch for me. it's a play watch for bbqs/golf that kinda shit.
