^^ Artex was really popular in the UK, in the 70s, until people realised how gay it is. Shit contains asbestos too if it was put in before the mid 80s.

If your ceiling was done in the late 80's, it seems like there's a good chance that it doesn't contain asbestos from what I'm reading.
