Those grey Generic Mans look dope, I think they'll work better as a low than they do as a high, especially in terms of width, and I like the way they've translated the collar detail to the low top version, looks very complete whereas the highs w/ the suede tops were kinda akward. Better than Common Projects IMO (quality and design) but don't suit me, unfortunately.

Tommy highstreet- hold off on a small Mac purchase unless it's an Air; they are supposed to be bringing out all new models, with new form factors, Macbook/Macbook Pro/mini, in early June probably. Seoul Apple Store prices will be much cheaper for you than the UK price as well, and I usually bought gear for another 10% off (VAT free) at a little authorized reseller shop in Seoul, which brought prices down to US dollar levels.

very good point.. i remember researching them before and they were much cheaper in US+JP than UK even straight from the strore.

ill hold off and if i get some decent money when im in seoul ill pick one up there, otherwise im not to fussed really, got a g5 at home which only really ever used for internet, porn, streaming.

are you sure? they recently updated their core speeds and ram for all the ones you mentioned,i think something like 2 months ago. it would be weird that they made another update on them this year, no?

next update will be a complete redesign of macbook/macbook pro. some people think it will happen this year but i think it will be early '09.
