Anyone have measurements for how the 1101 fits? Specificall in waist 31 and 32.

Its a shame the 1103 had such slim thighs (relative to their waist), otherwise a 31 in 1103 would have been perfect.

Also, anyone have any denim suggestions tha fade like strike gold?

Just picked these up. Love the fit. The denim is so interesting and different. Think i'll do a hot soak from mid thigh down and cold soak the top block.

Although the measurements don't indicate, they feel like they have tightened up heaps after the soak. I have them on now as they fully dry up. Almost impossible to get the first few buttons up, after an hour the waist has stretched back out to close to pre soak. Thighs are where they are tightest, so hopefully with the softening of the denim and stretching they will get out a 1/2" or so, then they will be exactly where i'd like them.

Hei, can anyone compare the fit between my current IH-634s sz 31 (down size 1 fr 32) to SG2105/2109,

Tight on IH fits me fine but I need slimmer leg (knee-hem), what type and what size should I get?

Worn 4-5 days a week, mostly just walking around and sitting in class. Haven't worn them much lately.

Going to be washing then soon so i can take them to SE for a crotch repair and hem.

thanks :-) ...went a 1/2 size down, knowing how the 1109s shrink i felt like it was a bit risky but i was after a slimmer fit.

after the soak, i put them on once they were dry enough and wow the thigh was tight. for a second i thought i had sized incorrectly but after 1/2 day's wear moulding to my body, they have loosened up a lot and they're pretty much spot on what i'd like. i think u can really control the fit with your soak type. i'll post more measurements in a few days with pics.

i've seen your posts in the flathead thread and imo these jeans wont be right for you. you say you want a higher rise, but these jeans are a low rise. below are the measurements have right now.

Sorry, but that is an awfully low rise. The knee is the same measurements as leg opening I assume?

Because I bought and soaked (and now re-selling) the 1103 in a sz32, and the rise is actually too large for me. I was considering sizing down but the thigh on the 32 is already as slim of a fit as I'd like it to be, otherwise the f.rise, knee, and hem would have been a near perfect fit.

If only these cuts weren't so awkward..(or maybe its just me).

The 1103 has a super weird rise considering the rest of the cut, hence why at Self Edge we only stock the 1105/2105 and 1109/2109 cuts.

After a few days of wear, these are moulded to my body perfectly. Feel very fitted and comfortable but the denim is still very stiff ( When I take them off it looks like i'm still in them ).

^ if referring to the 1109s...Presoak: 11", Immediately after soak: 10.8"...wear around while damp, move around, stretch a bit to loosen up thigh...2 days after soak: 11.2"

feels like these will stretch as much as my thighs ned them to, but then again i'm only 3 days in on these

I'm actually looking at sizing down to 31 for the 1103. The rise on the 32 is just a bit much, anyone know if a tailor can fix that? Otherwise a 32 is perfectly comfortable, if only the rise was a bit smaller. I just hate having thighs that are too slim/fitted. That's the one place I need room.

Got my usual denim size, 29. Those shots are pretty shitty, I'll get something better up when I have more time and get around to wearing them more. I have really skinny legs so this cut is actually pretty roomy for me, which I like after 9 months of pbj 011s.

I am interested in getting a pair of either 1103 or 1101 or 1105 in Waist 32/33. Please help me eliminate my choices. I would like the following features in the jean:

- Medium rise ie less than say LVC 1947 and I think all those should be that

- Thigh at least 12" or more

- Leg opening under 9" and preferrable near 8.5" or less.

Have soccer thighs and legs, so I need some room in the leg and seat as well.

I seem to have narrowed it to 1101, but would either of the other two strike as better options?

They are just starting to show the nice fadings coming up now

As comparision my never washed or soaked SG 1103 raw just after 300 days of constant daily wear as my nice first class office pants:
