i hate when small rocks get stuck in the soles of my free run + and make an annoying sound every time my foot strikes the ground.

i would get free's if you run road only. They are great on the road, but suck if you switch from gravel/trails/pavement.

Soles are too thick for running trails too IMO

i run on road, but always manage to get a few small stones stuck between the wedges. no big deal though.

Nike LunarGlide+ 3. On my feet 12 hours a day in them and never have any issues.

damn...I f***ed up. bought the top pair (nikeid) and after fooling around with it after i created the bottom ones and wish i went with those. What you guys think?

dude, the bottom ones are the standard colour for free 3.0 v3s (apart from the white midsole lining), i have it. You would've wasted you money IDing it

they're really secure around the feet and super comfortable, their comfort is only 2nd to nike free 3.0's

very comfortable and tons of cushioning and support. i still prefer to run in my frees though but it's a great backup shoe since my frees smell like shit.

I've gone on two runs with mine now and the fit and feel is great all arond. They felt so good out the box, almost like they were already broken in. I've always ran in Asics GTs but just had to try out the Lunars simply cause they're so dope looking. No regrets so far.

I'm not saying anything against it, but has anyone noticed that the current "trendy" shoe apparently is a solid running shoe? It usually seems as though this isn't the case. Great that they did it right, though.

So weird to see Nike make a strong comeback with runners. Few years ago NO ONE was buying Nikes for legit running (maybe track shoes, but not like everyday 5-mile run shoes). I got a pair of frees and they're OK, but I still do long runs in Brooks.

I know a number of people who always swore by the Pegasus and the Marathoner was a good longer-distance racing shoe but I think the Lunar series got a lot more people interested in seeing what Nike had to offer. Maybe the Free too with the barefoot running fad.

Almost goes without saying that their marketing is excellent and they have a top-drawer stable of elite runners using their products. That's got to count for something too.

i just got a pair of the NB minimus road shoes and they are way comfy. would highly recommend them. 4mm heel to toe drop. shoes want to go fast

It looks like people overpronate super hard in the minimus. So either you run correctly with a lot of lean or your arches get crushed.

i can see that. but for me they've been great. had a pair of frees and these are way more comfy. my feet are pretty wide so these are great, can actually stretch my toes out inside of the shoes. also great for promoting ball of the heel/midfoot strike. good ground feel and makes for super springy running
