That pencil is beautiful. Might need to invest in one of those....

Definitely worth it. I love my 0.3mm with HB and 0.7 with H pencil lead. The Rollerball is pretty awesome, too. Never had an better set of writing instruments

pencil looks great but i hate those grips on the fingers. i had a pen like that from muji and it really wears into you. maybe fine for a few quick notes but after a class worth my fingers hurt like crazy

^you won't have this problem with those pencils. The pattern is not that deep so you can squeeze the pens between your fingers and it won't hurt

Here are my two favorite pens. The Namiki gets the most use these days, because its considerably lighter and easier to write with than the Montegrappa.

aight, i'm gonna pick up a few of them rotring 600s if they feel right in the hand. can anyone recommend a store in Tokyo with a good selection? or will tokyu hands be all i need?

because they're plastic. idk. there are some expensive plastics out there, too. i prefer the 600 w/o cap. it becomes too top-heavy when writing.

have you checked out the kaweco fountain pens? they're really nice.
