i don't know, would it?

i've only been to a few places here and there, i thought it'd be cheap - getting driven around in a car.. maybe staying in a b'n'b now and then.

i'll focus on getting a job instead.

Yeah I reckon. Think about it ... Fuel, accommodation & food all adds up. Even if you're camping.

Only place I want to go in the UK is Galloway Forest Park.

i was born and raised in england until i was 8 (moved to australia). i went back to england for the first time since leaving recently and was blown away at how expensive everything seemed (london especially) even though i have been around europe, japan etc. even real basic shit like going to tesco or something. am i crazy?

i gotta say though, england might be lacking in some ways regarding 'proper' food but i still think you have the best crisps/chocolate around.

Two generations of nutritionally deficient, educationally underperforming fat & spotty kids in Uggs & RBK classics can't be wrong.

Seriously though. Wholefoods got the drop.

maybe i should have rephrased...not the best chocolate 'ever' but the best 'mainstream'/mass quantity chocolate. sucks about the cadbury buyout.

Out of all the cheap European supermarkets, I gotta rep Aldi. Lidl is full of nasty looking German sausage (no homo).

I don't discriminate & I'll shop anywhere, but my dietary choices mean I buy the best fruit & veg that's available when I do.

Thinking about it, one thing London is missing is decent *interesting* vegetarian/vegan restaurants. Mean. there's excellent Surti stuff going on in Tooting and Wembley, but what else? Nothing contemporary, apart from Saf.

Presume you both know Kastoori in Tooting? LOVE the food at that place. Samosas and dahi & sev puris are the best I've eaten, and the Oro (baby aubergines) on Sunday is wonderful.
