i grew up with pop punk bands being rancid, green day, screeching weasel, or whatever (i didn't really listen to it, so i only know the bigger pop punk bands). that band sounds like new found glory or some shit- we called that emo.

It's okay, but the starter went out a few weeks ago and now I have this overheating headache to deal with. I've been meaning to do some routine maintenance stuff, it just keeps beating me to the punch which is annoying and costly. We'll see how this next mechanic visit plays out

i never cared for the lot, BUT  rancid was not a pop punk band.  infact they even had reggae ala the clash and ska/skacore tracks.

the lookout bands you listed were all considered a type of pop punk.  basically alot of lookout! records' roster were either trying to sound like the ramones or like the beach boys.
