Daft Punk's Electroma

Has anyone seen "Daft Punk's Electroma", and any thoughts on it? I'm curious, having recently seen them live, especially after watching the pure strangeness of the trailer.

I actually found the film on tv-links, but it's being infuriatingly slow in loading, so I'm seriously considering waiting out the dvd.

The trailer is great but it should really have been a short film. Instead every single shot is just painfully long. I love Daft Punk, but I still got bored during some of the shots just because it seemed like they drew them out for no apparent reason.

i fully agree. i was just about to say, the film is only a little over an hour long but imo if it were cut down to around 20 minutes it would have been fine. it had a great car in it though, the ferrari 412.

wow, that car is great.

just watched it, thought it was very interesting but at parts it was boring, some of the shots really do drag on. i think i would enjoy to watch it a second time soon though to see if i've missed anything in the background... seems like one of those films where you can discover more about it with each watch?

Its fun to scroll through after you downloaded. Cool stuff. Watching through it wouldnt be fun though.

Yea, it is a really slow movie and it does seem to just drag on. To my memory there is no actual Daft Punk music in it. However try watching it while playing the Human After All album. I read somewhere that it works with the movie.

I saw the movie last January at a festival here in Holland. And yeah it is kinda too long. A bit too weird for my taste but it was ok.
