Well, I've worn them almost every day since late April and even bike to and from school in them mon-thurs, so I don't know. I've seen other pics of Thin Finn's and they all have the same honeycombs (if you can even call them that).

Those honeycombs are a result of the denim used in the thin finns, its thin smooth and stretchy it almost folds into honeycombs instead of creasing if that makes any sense...my girlfriends pair had pretty similar honeycombs....but hers were pretty beat up looking overall.
