Oh, I've seen yours and they are breathe-taking. I'm always a bit surprised when I see lines of contrast, though. As I recall, yours were more multi-colored than whiskered. Just a very different type of fade because of the sheer amount of slub.

Washed once around 6 months. Then between 8 and 9 months they got really filthy twice and I washed them after those trips. So three times so far.

I stand by my method of general hard and persistent wear for half a year without washing to break them in, then destroy them after that and wash as needed.

headtowall - the caving jeans right? love the filth, reminds me of serge's apc's that were utterly filthy .They look great. I rock climbed in Mexico in my Samurai's for 1 day and they were pretty dirty, had to hot soak them, they felt gross.
