Thanks guys

@wgmds

Yes, I wear all my raw denim stuff dry never washed till at the end in 3 steps like always:

1. nice: office

2. worn out: outdoor leisure hiking, biking,..

3. falling apart: hard work out in the forest repairing machines,...

4. retired: in the Jeansnmuseum

In step 3 they have to stay outside my living room because of some good reasons which you can understand easily for sure

And sorry guys about the bad fit pics: I'm wearing all my raw denim stuff a liittle bit oversized (waist 32 or 33 instead of 30 - 31) because I hate thight jeans when sitting. As one result of oversized wearing you get those two vertical fading lines from the back pockets down to the inner side of the honeycombs

@tvshooter.

Yo're right. I messed up some pics during uploading. There should be only one ass pic and 2 more front and side pics instead

Anyway, I added the picasa link again, where all update pics are visible:

people need to stop trying to "improve" the color with editing.. because most people suck ass at it.

I know your talking about me and honestly the colors were so fucked up from the original photos. Editing them to try and make the colors not look so fucked up made it look a lot worse.

another update from #66 here to keep the thread alive. had to move the repair patch from the inside to the outside since the wearing down at the crotch area was getting bigger. emergency repair job while on holiday but will touch up the other side once i get back home.

the denim is wearing in pretty nicely and these are some really comfortable jeans. love how the hardware wears down as well. they have been washed fairly frequently (more than 4 washes since i started). lots of loose threads but its all good since i can touch up on them by myself. the chainstitch has begun unraveling a long time ago but i just put in some handstitching to hold it in place and to secure the chainstitch. can get them restitched but i think i'll leave them as they are since i can leave my own handiwork in them. the patch is among the softest that i have owned and they are also wearing down, going going gone are the words. the fading on the denim reminds me a lot of some LHT denim with a lot of vertical falling as well. can't wait till the end of the contest to see how they turn out!
