its 2012 and their are still insane levels of xenophobia/discrimination at almost all levels, too collectivist, virtually no personal space etcbut regarding things that require money most things are incredibly cheap or reasonable.

Real talk

looking thru the snaps posted on the clubdiana website. the venue looks pretty big.chicks look pretty old but the quality maybe comparable with that of muse. is that a fair assessment?

Mr. BENTO,

How do you know the Uramune sisters?!

I need an introduction!

I think one of the sisters is dating an equities trader at Merrill Lynch.

BTW, herpsky, I'm sure you've heard but our good homie at Morgan Stanley is getting transferred to Hong Kong

We are doing a going-away party for him end of month.

may be more ブス

Alife is officially closed.

Cops slapped a "no dancing" restriction on Feria.

Rumor is that Muse is closing soon.

LEGA I think is probably the only new legitimate nightclub now.

How is New Planet these days?

How is New Planet these days?

Haven't been since the opening but I think that after an initial wobbly start (well 2 wobbly starts really) they are packed out. I heard the other night from my TKO friend in OSK that the overflowing Jumanji55 crowd proved to be enough to fill both rooms. I:m sure it's a bit erratic but probably solid (in a non-baller late night let's get fucked up at 3/4/5/6AM sort of way).

BTW, my favorite kaiten sushi in the world, Tskijihonten right off of center-gai just closed down unexpectedly (RIP maguro steak nigiri). What should be my new go to cheap but amazing sushi spot? My back up is the one in Meguro station at the back (behind To the Herbs and whatever else) but there has to be gems in Shibuya/Harajuku/Daikanyama/Ebisu area. Recs?

Bromo Brozaimasu.

midorizushi in the meguro station atre is always packed to the extreme.

i've only been there once. it's good for a kaitenzushi joint.

then again, i can't really appreciate the fine taste of sushi at all.

that teishoku place near the rotunda is probably my favorite meguro spot.

fukura-ya.

We are doing a going-away party for him end of month.

totally missed this part.

yeah, it totally sucks that he is leaving (or has already left) town. he said he would be coming back to visit at the end of the year. i don't know how long he will be gone. will be pretty funny if he finds a HK billionaire princess BZ and gets wifed up. fewer opportunities for go-kon / nomikai and stuff though :(

i've made a lot of female friends through his parties but nothing really ever materialized (if you know what i mean)

the chicks you know tend to be more fun and DTF

i heard all the foreign firms are focusing on the eastern asian market and relocating resources to HK and China...

Man this week has been really depresssing.

One of very good friends from college just got fired from Fidelity Japan. He had been with the firm since graduation (4 years).

Another co-worker just quit for a hedge fund in LA.

Plus our ex-MS homie who still can't find a job and our other homie who is moving to HKG.

Everyday I feel like Japan is falling apart more and more.
