ikebukuro one is decent for what it is

stayled in the sakura hotel in ikebukuro one for a week. it's definitely not bad. gaijin friendly (i am white as fuck) which is nice, though whenever I used japanese they just spoke engrish at me. there is free wifi there that they say is only available in the lobby, but it reaches at least the 5th floor, where we were staying. more free wifi at the cafe across the street. definitely recommended for the price.

Weird event my friend sent me:

http://jiyugaoka.kei...z/headline/865/

I once told an American colleague (female) about go-kon culture in Japan.

She was fascinated by it and told me to spread it across America.

This is so baller. People should print this post out and pin it to their office cubicle wall as a reason to live.

There's a J Crew in Odaiba -- a few of the second hand stores in Harajuku/Shibuya carry J Crew stuff very occasionally. I'd try Heatwave or Tailgate or the huge one near Trump room...whatever's its called. All else fails, there's a million billion Japanese Americana clone versions you could try instead.
