of note this week

-coffeebean and tea leaf to open in nihonbashi (total garbage imo).

-Miyashita Koen to undergo renovation by 2019 – home to a brand new park, hotels, and shopping complexes

i was talking to a friend a couple of weeks ago and she described the city as having a very high "metabolism" – more so than any other city in the world. i think that's a really good expression.

Steve Aoki starting his Dim Mak fashion line.

Then hosting a party in Aoyama's Idol.

Was it really necessary?

Does society really need another black/white street-wear brand?

Will anyone give a fuck about Blackscale, Been Trill, etc in a few years time?

I mean lets be real.

HBA is already feeling the effect of this.

Blame it on failed abenomics.

One of the first lifestyle stores that opened up in Tokyo. Also, the style they are pushing kinda coincided with the norm core trend.

i think that's about it.

That little 1LDK across from the OG 1LDK always had an interesting selection.

I've bought most of Hender Scheme stuff from there. In fact, that's the only place where I've seen their non-shoe items.

Their Margiela buy's always been good too.  (then again, why would you if you can just cop the craziest pieces at gyre or the flagship)

I mostly see rich-ish wives at Apartments then young guys at the normal 1LDK and whomever at Gyre. The clientele seems pretty different. The sample sale is always like 20 year olds.

I think the only place I've seen non-shoe HS items in store in Tokyo is at Lantiki centraaaaal or whatever.
