I got these big E Levi's 646 jeans yesterday for the bargain basemsnt price of $64! The fade doesn't get much better than this! I love hippy era jeans, they aren't washed out like other eras, and the indigo is really rich in color.

I can't believe they were so cheap! I got them at wasteland in SF. THey also had a pair of no gull evisu japan deadstock specials for $100 that I passed on. I (is it recon or reckon?) I wouldn't let them go for less than $250. I really wish they were my size! Levis should make a repro of these, I would lend them for that purpose, as long as I get a pair in my size! HInt Hint....

What a fantastic example to show that you don't need high priced selvedge denim to produce wicked wear patterns, all it takes is continuous wear without washing. I personally like the twisting seams.

Vintage Levis have twisted seams, that is just the way it goes. It takes some getting used to but you will learn to love it.

The Evisus were 34" waist I think. They had a evisu red tab too. They also had a pair of Evis jeans too in size 30" I think!
