Converse Jack Purcell: How do they fit?

Looking to grab a pair of Jack Purcells, but wondering how they fit?true to size?

Do they fit the same as regular low chucks? They look like they got more padded than regular chucks. Im a true size 9, but wear size 8 in chucks. Thanks in advance.

agreed. i wear 8.5 in chucks, 9 in purcells, 9.5 in vans (slip/authentic), and 10 in adidas (stan smith). hope that helps.

Hmm... I must have weird feet. I wear 9 in chucks and I had to put a heel grip in my size 9 purcells because they were slipping. But I also find purcells to be one of the most uncomfortable shoes I own.

I find this too. take out the super thick converse insole and replace with a birkenstock heel insole. problem solved.

I haven't worn Chucks in a decade but you really go down a size and a half? That seems excessive..

I had to size down for my purcells. Normally I'm a 9 but 8.5 was perfect. I've had a pair of white ones for close to a year now and they're beat to hell but theyre still my absolute favorite tennis shoe to wear.

Got mine from converse.com. They ship to worlwide I think but you'll pay taxes...

btw, I think there are 2 kinds of Purcells. Some of them have a "CP" tag or something. I guess there might be differences in sizing.
