LVC Fall collection?

Recommended Posts

If anyone is looking for the levi's K1's in 32x32 I stumbled upon some auctions that likely would have gone unseen...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8322019436&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1

If you benefit from this please drop me a line and help me track down some LVC 1947's deadstocks in size 30x32 or any retailers with old LVC Stock????

Thanks.

Yeah,

Plus I don't think he's very truthful. He states that the jeans he has were made at the Valencia Street factory, yet when I asked him what was stamped on the top button he told me an "R." I wrote to inform him that he might have his info wrong (they should be stamped '555') and that he's possibly misleading people, but he has continued to use that (mis)information.

  • 3 weeks later...

seems that the Fall 05 collection has started to pop up on the Bay

LVC 1879 repro

and btw, is this the limited edition 1947 for the fall collection

http://www.hanon-shop.com/products/detail/mens_levis_vintage_clothing/pants/1/LVPA5/Denim/_/_/_/

doesn't look that impressive to me...

That second one, a 1937 repro, is the Limited Edition. It's called the Indigo Heart. I have a pair in front of me. They're pretty nice, although the quality of wear etc is not on a par with, eg, the indigo immortals - they're not high contrast. Personally, I tend to prefer the Deadstock versions of all of these, unless you get the very best finishes like the Indigo Immortal, and especially the Nevada $45000 replicas, which do seem to have better wear than anything you can get yourself. Does anyone know who does the wear on all of these? I know Bart Sights did the really good ones from 2002/2003.

Mind you, everyone who's seen the denim duffel bag that comes with the wartime Ltd Edition thought it was a really cool 50 year old vintage item...

i went to atrium NYC this afternoon, didnt see any LVC at all. i asked one of the employees about it, lo and behold he directed me to levi's premium. god i wonder what the hell got him the job... on another note, i saw some nice dry and one-wash lee half selvage...

if you're looking specifically for lvc, i'd say your best bet would be either the levi store in soho or barney's uptown...i called both yesterday and neither had the fall collection yet
