Thats the best way to jack designs.. get a bunch of kids to have a "contest" and pick 8 good designs as "winners" give them a few bucks and some fame, and take all the un-seen contestants designs for yourself. I LOVE IT. (nothing against the judges or companies) its just i know that kinda shit happens.

the whole point of this show, dude, is to HELP the artists get their shit out there for people to see in a cool new way. before you go judgeing, why don't you read what the project is about?

this contest came about because nYcollective was tired of seeing companies like Threadless and Karamloop take credit for designs that weren't theirs. those companies sucker cool designs out young artists and then rape them on their profits.

do you think TOKION or ZAKKA would have signed onto this thing if that's what was going to happen?

don't think so.

so by trashing the exhibition/competition your basically shitting on a really important project that could help some really talented individuals. nice, one.
