I don't know my movies very well, but in what flicks did Heath Ledger have hair much like the messy pomp of James Dean? I remember watching a movie and Ledger pretty much was playing spot on Dean. I'm looking for some more reference material for a windswept pomp.

I think it could work. Do you have a shot of the side of your head? I ask because your hairline will really help define if you should wear it with a sharp comb to the side/back or slightly forward. I wear mine slightly forward as I have a square hairline with a small natural recede above the temples.

i got my hair cut a while ago.. back in february? anyways i had to cut it twice, the first time i didn't like how it was cut, so i went to my regular stylist the next day and she pretty much fixed it.

I would like to go for the classic mad composer/mad scientist hairdo, but would probably look ridiculous. I'd also like to think a wild Wolverine styled cut would be cool.

Nah, anyway, what I'm looking for is something a bit more agressive and rough. I'm done with this 'nice' floppy haircut. It's hard to find good examples though.
