Full Count Denim Thread

Haven't soaked mine, yet - but they are with me now.

did go with my regular FC size and will probably have to stretch them quite a bit once soaked. I would assume that they don'tshrink as much as 10% and that'll easily stretch back near to raw measurements (or slightly beyond if forced).

I was surprised that the 1101 is not much smaller in the waist. But the thigh and leg is wider. I think with a very hot wash and dryer they'll be good.

It's that leg width thats putting me off soaking mine as currently they are too wide for me at over 8 inches at the hem and I'm debating returning them. beautiful_FrEaK have you washed yours again? I'm keen to see how wide yours are as we both bought the same size before I decide what to do.

Got my 1108ex, really nice soft denim. Fit of top block is good. The lower leg is larger than I normally go for, but I knew that when I went for it. They are one washed version.

Happy bunny.

^what size is it? The wide leg is throwing me off a bit, but if I try Aho's System I might be able to shrink them down to my liking.  If you happened to have a 36 I'd be able to compare...Maybe the inseam length would already help as indicator how much shrinkage is in them.

Right, so these are the measurements of the one wash 1108EX in tag size 32:

waist: 32 inches
thigh: 11
front rise: 11
back rise: 13.7
knee: 8.5
leg opening: 7.8
inseam:33.2

Here are measurements from Pirates on rakuten:

What's Aho's System?

Thanks @Niro Just to be clear: were your jeans hemmed or did they shink over 3"?

@jewellben Roughly two hot washes and a dryer before wearing them. This should result in major shrinkage and nice roping. Most pairs I got recently were tight fromthe start so I had to be more careful wwen washing them, but this one could use a similar treatment.I just hope I don''t screw up the nice patch.

So - is there concensus regarding the inseam shrinkage on the EX models? I'll try to get my 1108 EX hemmed this Weekend and wonder how much I should have taken away. I will try laundry store washing and machine drying to shrink them to size, so i think i should calculate 3" shrinkage?

Here's my 1108EX after hemming. They still feel huge, also because Iost some weight and bought a pair of IH x VS 777 that are the complete opposite in terms of fabric and cut. I think Igot the baggiest 1108 fit ever, but with hot washes and a dryer I hope they work in my favor. The right upper thigh has an irregular spot, but I think it won't be a problem.

Simply awesome Flo! I was really glad when you picked up a pair of Full Count as I knew you will create a masterpiece!

Here is my update. Roughly 4 months of wear (started February 1st) and 2 washes.

I love that original hem

Had to re-stitch the seams in the inseam already twice

Great looking jeans both, looking forward to picking some FC up when I'm back in Tokyo next year. (If I can hold out that long).

@Max Power you have more fade in those than I get in more than a year's wear.
