Full Count Denim Thread

^I'm not surprised at all. With my build and lifestyle, I was impressed they went six months before needing a repair. I went with a 30. They have never fit tight anywhere, just how I like 'em.

Ill throw up some pics this evening.  I wear them probably 3-4 days a week.  Waiting on my Warehouse to get hemmed.  Finally decided that I just cant comfortably continue with my SDA 101's as the waist is just a tad too tight.  Im too old to fight the fit.

Just received the 1110z from Pirates w34..... Love the fit of the top block but fear the thighs won't work. May have to let them go for what I paid and look at the 1101..

Anybody interested PM me. I'll decide over the weekend.

Hi to all,

With input from several of you on this forum, I purchased the Fullcount 1108XX in size 36 a while back and they worked out well.  After washing and drying them, the waist is a little big and they're a touch on the loose side, but I'm comfortable and happy with them.  I tried the 1108XX in 35 and the fit was snugger and probably better looking but the thighs were a little tighter than my old 59 year old body prefers, so I went with 36.  For reference, I also bought a pair of Samurai S710XX in size 35 and they fit perfectly -- a little trimmer than the 1108XX in 36.  Both were raw, shrink-to-fit denim.

I've learned that I like a higher rise, so now I'm thinking about the Fullcount 0105 in either size 34 or 35.  Which do you think will be best based on the size chart below?  I know it sounds odd to be thinking about the 34 when my other FC pair is 36 but the waist on the raw 0105 is generous at 37.5" and the 1955 style should be pretty roomy most everywhere.

Thanks.

John

John, my opinion, but if the 710 in 35 is perfect, I honestly think you should be deciding between a 33 or 34 in the 0105, instead of between 34 or 35.  34 would be the biggest you'd want to go.  The lighter weight denim stretches too.

Thanks S-Town.  I'm leaning toward the 34 on the 0105 at this point.  35 is a possibility but agree that 36 would be (way) too big.

What's the 13.7 oz. denim like on the 0105?  My only Fullcount pair is the 1108XX in 15.5 oz., which I assume is the same as the denim that edmund mentions above in post 2302.  I don't see the 0105 in 15.5 oz. at BiG -- will this be a limited, hard to find offering?

John, this model is quite roomy.  If you think the 710 is great in 35, I think you would steer clear of size 36 in the 0105 completely, and really think twice about 35.  Unless of course, you're looking for a really loose fit.  The 0105 is the opposite of the "no pain, no gain" heavyweight and slim models out there.  Super comfortable!

And the denim is awesome!  Compared to Samurai 19oz, it will feel extremely light.  But it's really nice stuff.

Anyone interested in a brand new 1108xx o/w size 32 hemmed to a 28.5 inseam though. i didn't shrink them they were purchased one wash from okayamadenim. I'm 5'8 and they still stack a bit for me cause they sit a little low on the waist. I'm probably going to get the reg1108 in a larger size instead. Willing to let them go for $170 shipped. still have all the tags on them. I can also throw in a pair of size 32 BGN - 02 limited run (blue in green 02 model) unworn but machine washed to get shrinkage out - slim cut - hemmed to a 29.5 for another $80 have to buy both though. They are both are chain stitched hemmed from okayamadenim and blue in green. sorry if this isnt the place to post this listing but I'm not sure if everyone goes through the marketplace. I guess the post can also just compare the two jeans.

If you're going to buy from BiG, I'd purchase a pair of one wash 1101 (extremely close in fit to the 0105, slightly smaller at the ankle) to see how they fit, then send them back to exchange for a pair of raw 0105s.

Hello good people.  I was looking through the denim jeans in the catalog found through http://www.fullcount.co.jp/collection_basic.html#

this page and noticed that on most jeans there is an option, and different price, depending on % of indigo, and I am wondering where one might be able to find these beauties in different shades (%) of indigo. thanks.
