No. I don't believe it's selvage fabric; I suspect the fabric is Ring/OE. In any case, even if bootcut jeans are made with what was originally selvage fabric, the selvage will be lost.

Definitely not selvage. Paul, how can you tell if it's Ring/OE? Looks like Ring/Ring to me, I'm curious to know what you could see that makes you think it's R/OE.

No, I can't from the photo, I'm just guessing, given the price point. RIng/OE can also be quite hard to spot. There is one famous range of jeans, that's pretty much known for being RingRing, which I found out isn't, and hadn't guessed...

Paul T you are not totally correct Strong hold will be coming out with a boot cut Selvage jean. It's SICK. They screw around with the looms and the selvage doesn't start at the waistband or top of the leg. It's worth checking out.

Yes they areout of LA. They are using pictures of Charlie Chaplin wearing the oringal Stronghold jeans. Their showroom is in LA as well as NYC.
