REPORTER,

In response,

What makes a Top 10 Store?

To some, it may be based solely on product. Or the store's design. The location. The prices. The clientele. The hype. Etc etc etc.

I have different stores on my list for different reasons, but BP is on there because it is a great store in terms of the overall experience. BP carries some solid lines from time to time, and gets their exclusive pick of skateboarding-related product. But their overall atmosphere is what makes the store. Back when I was a kid, my first experience with independent stores wasn't Bape, or UNDFTD, ... it was the ratty neighborhood skate shop that the locals kicked it at between sessions. I'd hang out there everyday after school, watch videos, skate the curb outside, and cause problems. BP has the same vibe - so in my opinion, that is what makes a TOP 10 Store.

Sorry for the diatribe, - nothin against you - but just giving a better explanation why BP is on my Top 10.

thehundreds is huge.

Bobby - All good I understand completely. I've got spots like that to reflect on for sure. Just don't consider BP a ratty spot but I get the analogy... So BP is y'alls Zephyr? That would be Union or Stussy (NY) for me as a kid then. Tiny but James was always a sweetheart!

Well alright then go BP!
