oval. i can hear the influence in today japanese electronic music, the clicks and cut sounds in piana, aus..

boards of canada. the only album i really enjoyed from them.

fennesz, endless summer is my favorite title track. I enjoyed venice more. maybe more accessible.

daft punk: heard of them while listening to a late night radio show. loved it.

aphex twin. first album i bought was selected ambient vol 2. Then it was richard d james. After that it was all about rephlex/warp releases. autechre, u-ziq,

Lightnin' Hopkins Lightnin'! should be on there, as should any of the other albums I own and love. Music is basically essential, and its hard to break it down to just 5.
