I could not possibly survive without these albums:

Television - Marquee Moon

Bob Dylan - Blonde on Blonde

The Flaming Lips - The Soft Bulletin

The Microphones - The Glow, Pt. 2

Joanna Newsom - The Milk-Eyed Mender

They get played so often its ridiculous.

Runners up... Phoenix - United, Animal Collective - Here Comes the Indian (hurts my soul not to include this), so many others...

Pink Floyd - The Wall

Arcade Fire - Funeral

The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band

Girl Talk - Night Ripper

Radiohead - Kid A

those are the albums that i really can't imagine my life without ... i feel like i should include some hip hop in there, but i can't think of a definitive album that really had as much of an impact on me as any of these.

2. My Bloody Valentine - Loveless

3. Autechre - Amber

4. Boards of Canada - Music Has The Right to Children

5. Dr. Dre - 2001

I think I could listen to just these 5 albums for the rest of my life.
