If it was only alcohol, you could probably get away with some sort of fabreeze type stuff, i dont really know what they have over there. It will help a whole bunch if you could leave them outside in the sun and fresh air for a while that will help get some of the stink out.

Sorry to hear that. Am anxiously awaiting what will happen next. It's 'cause of your 101s that I decided to stick it out with mine.

They're in tweedleinpink's top jeans, BTW.

if i were you, i'd get a woolite type detergent, flip the jeans inside-out and stick it in a washing machine without other items for a wash. especially with sanforized lees, i don't think hot or cold matters much.

but if for some reason you don't trust the washing machines, then you could go and buy a bucket. or just use a bath tub. then handwash.

If you really dont want to wash them and they stink.

Chuck them in a box,

Open a box of sodium bicarbonate and put it in there (dont pour it on the jeans)

The sodium bicarb will absorb the smells and stuff. Its still dirty, but might feel that bit better.

I hope you follow Chicken's advice. There's also stomach acid in the vomit, keep in mind, and although it's pretty weak as acids go, they still might produce some weird fading on those 101s.

thanks for the advice

one question though:

as you may have seen the crotch is blown out pretty bad

should i have this patched before or after the wash?

just wash them. 14 mos without wash should produce nice results anyway. a necessary wash is just that. plus, your crotch was probably weakned by all the accumulated sweat, etc. one wash will overall improve the quality of wear for you, and the people who love you. your jeans will thank you, and in turn, youll thank yourself...
