For some reason, images from the Japanese interment camps really resonate with me...A dark moment in American history (and Asian American history for me culturally) yet everyone always seems smiling and making the best of things. Here are some recent finds...spot the denim/workwear if you can!

^Indeed...credits say May 1947 so it makes sense! guy in the background seems to be the same person, and the painted arcs seem to have washed off.

I love this pic. Crazy, this outfit looks pretty similar like todays streetwear.
