Can I wear my beeswax leather DB right out of the box in some light snow or just get them wet in general without any damage? I know my sand suedes get water stains but that's coz those are obviously suede. Are the beeswax leather the same?

clarks in general aren't so great in the snow. very cold, feet will get wet, and the soles are slippery on ice.

reading another post from another forum:

"Alright, my brown Padmore & Barnes P204, aka Wallabees came in today. I can honestly say that these are 100x better than the ones made in Vietnam/China/wherever. Wallabees are a bit on the heavy weighing side, but when I pulled these out of the box, these joints were HEAVY. If you have a made in Vietnam and made in Ireland (or in the case of these, made in Portugal), compare them and you'll see. The craftsmanship on the P204 pair is solid. Shout out to Frank Bryan for bringing these back."

Love my Clarks. I would wear them everyday but I hate how they are not waterproof - would wear my DBs more but they just soak up the rain.

Also, my brown wallabees are reaching the end now, I've got it resoled twice. The sole on the second attempt was complete reconstructed as best the cobbler could. I suspect this is a difficult task altogether - he tried his best but it's coming apart (again). Can't really see from the picture but they are my favourite shoes.

Wanted to resole with Vibrams but so expensive - you could buy a new pair with that kind of money. Any suggestions to salvage? I love that brown pair :(
