its probably a coil then. the two machines sound completely different. (coil is traditional tattoo buzz, rotary is much more quiet, usually used for shading) as the machine operates in a different fashion. in the end its all really personal opinion as both machines can accomplish anything, really.

well he actually used like 3-4 different machines on me...but if you're talking about the noise differences, then he used a coil for the darker parts of shading and a rotary for the lighter parts...

hope that makes sense!?...

real shitty pic but almost got both arms in there... start coloring my armpit on feb 1. ill post a pic of it then but for now here it is outlined. once i finish my armpit my right sleeve, armpit and rib panel will all connect, pretty excited about that.
