Habs are shredding, Sens are back on track w/ Alfie and Spezza both healthy. Them big bullies from Philly are starting to go off on kids.Things are heating up in the east. Ducks/Flames/Kings need to stay cool in the west. The Shark Tank is a very scary place.

War.

nah, it should be a pretty good trade in the long run... (giguere one is even better)

edmonton has that pick on lock anyways, and kessel at 22 y/o has better development than you could expect out of seguin or whoever at this stage...

someone on D, maybe kaberle, gets moved for a forward during the off-season. or i guess during the season if he waives his clause.

Good trade of the Leafs. Its OK for the Flames, they get some much needed secondary scoring. The Rangers are in the process of trading: Kotalik and Higgins for Jokinen. That would be great. But apparently Kotalik has a limited no trade clause and the Flames are one of the teams of the list. Unreal that Slather gives this guy 3 mil a year AND no limited no trade clause. I really hope it gets done in the end. (This all according to TSN)

Sweden for the repeat!!! Canada has a pretty amazing team though, but I gotta cheer for Forsberg's third gold as he's my favorite player of all time...

the goal that made me fall in love with hockey:

I pretty much stopped following the NHL after the lockout and the retarded tv network switches years ago but trying to get back into it... the "new" rules have really opened up the game, I love it!

Sure it will boost his confidence, but what these games have shown is that he is a 3rd 4th line player at best. Will be be a 50+ point getter the Rangers want him to be? I don't think so. He's a grinder getting paid superstar money. When he plays in the right situations he is very valuable and I hope torts is taking notes.

story might have been different if luongo was in net - and i hope he'll be in for the rest of the tourney

but miller was ridiculous. and all that after barely getting the best of hiller the other night...

i'd say hot goalies we're gonna run us out of this tournament if i thought nabokov could do what miller/hiller just did.

Chelios is back in the NHL. I guess the Thrashers needed a real-life Reg Dunlap.
