Digitalism In Cairo.

Dance. Floor. Killer.

Honestly, I hate mashups.

Dance Not Dance wasn't that good.

there are actually 2 versions. i admit that digitalism unreleased version was lacking, but the regular one was stellar.

which one didn't you like?

i don't care for most mashups, but there are a few that i think are great. the cure vs. digitalism was good.

i.e. black strobe vs. herbie hancock (was it? the beverly hills song...)

Don't think i've heard the unreleased before. I've only got the original.

Don't get me wrong it is a great track, just not something I would put at the very top of a list or whatever.

Something resent; Dave Spoon's remix of Funkagendas "San Francisco" is fantastic.

I can't stand the original mix- Spoon cleans it up very nicely.

Neighborhood #6 (Milkshake): could not stop laughing, the novelty never wears off of this mash-up

Rebellion (Lies) Dance mix: in theory, it sounds like an awful idea but i gave it a listen and it ended up being really good. Some guy from the AF forums made it.

Johnny Cash - Hurt: just as good, if not better than the original.

The Shins - We Will Become Sillhouettes: The cover kicks the gibbard's ass, which is not saying very much, i guess, but i still enjoy it.

kill peaches aka snowden (without the rest of the band) aka jordan jefferies - dreams (stutter fleetwood mac remake)

http://www.stereogum.com/mp3/Snowden%20-%20Dreams.mp3

what really gets me about this remake is the subtle affectations & style choices he makes that seperates this dramatically from the original... just good stuff all around.
