haha i like how bordello bar is tagged on here.. i've never been there but heard its a chill little place.

would this be a bad place to also post about house parties that have bitches and free alcohol, club events, and good local bands playing for free?

i am down to go nabbing bitches with sufu'ers. and of course.. FREE DRINKS!

Located in the heart of the downtown Historic Core at 4th and Main Streets,

The Old Bank District will brighten the holidays with a custom “snow fall†light

installation during the holidays until January 2nd, 2009. The light display

will stretch across 4th Street between Spring St. and Main St. For the December 6th

block party, streets will be closed to vehicle traffic on 4th St.

between Spring St. and Main St. as well as on Main St. between 4th St. and 5th St.

(except for local residents and event parking).

Pete’s Café & Bar, Warung Restaurant and Rocket Pizza Lounge will be extending their

patios and offering special holiday menus and cocktails during the holiday season. Ten

percent of all restaurant proceeds will be donated to participating local charities including

Chrysalis, The Salvation Army and Midnight Mission. Local charities will have booths

available to provide information, sign-up volunteers and receive donations. The Midnight

Mission will be accepting holiday toy and gift donations, particularly for young adults

and teens.

The free Old Bank District Holiday Block Party will also include:

- Main Stage presented by Little Radio with live performances from The Like,

Whispertown 2000, The Afternoons, Restaurant, and special guest headliner

performing from 6 pm - 12 am.

- An outdoor Beer and Wine Garden on 4th St., with seating for partygoers to enjoy

the lights and entertainment.

- Harlem Place Alley will be transformed into an intimate Jazz Bar with

performances by Pablo Calogero and band, hosted by Pete’s Café & Bar.

- Comme des Garçons, Blends, Orange 22, and Fremont Apparel, as well as other

neighborhood retailers including those on Main St. like Banquette, Blossom, Raw

Materials and others, will be offering specials and discounts for holiday shoppers.

- An Art Bazaar will be hosted in the historic Farmers and Merchants Bank,

featuring the work of over 30 local artists. The Bazaar will be cash only and all

work will be $200 and under.
