cliches you can live without ever hearing again

Recommended Posts

When a girl is pissed off and she replies, "I'm fine"

This is my number one.

A close second is "the grass is greener on the other side".

I don't like "Peace".

And I don't want to be called "man", "brother", "dude" or some other derirative of dirty stoned-out hippy talk.

'thinking outside the box'

'at the end of the day'

'basically'

Argh, there loads more that i can't think of at present. And i'm glad i can't.

What i could really do without is my brain creating cliches for itself, to think something over in my head before saying it feels like a cliche; reading a certain book, dressing a certain way - producing something (art, music, writing) feels like a cliche because modern society encourages 'creativity' amoungst the common man.

"I'd like to be friends though" or afterwards" I hope we can still be friends though"

at my work place:

"we don't live in a blame culture"

this was after another department fucked up, and has been consistently doing so for the past 2 months. i tell my boss to sort them out and she says the above.

now i think this is not the correct attitude because everyone needs to answer for their actionjs.

do good, get praised

do bad, get 2 hours in the stick and ridiculed by everyone.

thats my idea of a management mantra
