The Killer

Whether your subtitles at the end say 'SHRIMP-HEAD!' or 'MICKEY-MOUSE!', it matters not.

Crying Out Love, In the Center of the World

(Sekai no Chuushin de, Ai wo Sakebu)

Made me cry for two hours and propbably consumed two boxes of Kleenex tissue.

Life is Beautiful made me cry too.

I was thinking about that drama/movie when I read the thread title. The only time I ever saw a tough friend of mine cry was watching the movie.

I LOVED this movie^^^ Godzilla + Little Miss Sunshine = The Host

Maybe this movie was ruined by dubbing (and there's a very, very high chance of that) but while there were some touching moments, it was too schizophrenic and confusing by the end.

that episode of futurama when leela gets stung by the bee. that shit is powerful.

A man after my own heart :D

futurama had more than a couple of those moments...

one movie off the top of my head that i can add:

City of Angels

your movies that i agree with:

I Am Sam

Armageddon

Edward Scissorhands

the Fountain was quite sad (because he wouldn't let go of his wife), but one thing about that movie made me laugh so hard that it couldn't be sad. i need to get a screenshot of it later;

it's near the end when he finds the tree and is drinking the sap:

he goes all out with both hands and it looks like he's a drinking tree cum :(

oh my god...

i watched "grave of the fireflies" in 7th grade in school when i lived in japan... directly preceding a class trip to hiroshima that was coming up.

i swear the entire class was collectively bawling their eyes out.

Hotel Rwanda

i cry when they're leaving the hotel and joaquim says "jesus christ i'm so ashamed..."

that part hits me really hard for some reason

21 grams had me swimming

this one fucks me up beyond recognition, i can't even think about it without crying and i didn't even see the whole thing...but that's a whole otha story

this isn't a movie, but I watched a world trade centre special where this guy was walking around downtown, talking about all the time's he'd spent in the big city with his brother when they had days off just catching up, and now he was gone....i had to leave the room for that one.

21 grams is one of the most relentlessly depressing movies I've ever seen.

Mean, there's more harrowing movie out there, but at least in things like Requiem for a dream you get glimpses of hope, like the happy bits in spring and summer when the cast are all going after their dreams ... 21 grams is just negative.
