i've known nigerians who have made nicer looking sushi and miso soup then this. probably the ugliest rolls i've seen ever. the only mushrooms used in miso soup are the little japanese ones (nameko). you don't put nori in miso soup. you use wakame. shame on you, you don't eat miso soup with a spoon. fuck.

winter is here and i am slowly but surely putting on weight.

maybe the word 'diet' is the best choice (i'm not a fan of the word and its connotations) ...but i'm going on a diet/health kick too, stop eating so much crap...gotta start exercising again, and lose the few kgs i have put on, tone up etc. i'm still pretty light, but can definitely tone up a hell of a lot.

Tonight went with buddies to Maki @ Japantown.

Miso soup, I was suprised to find slices of carrot and potato under but delicious nonetheless. Salad was okay. The rib teriyaki was awesome, truly. sauce was light and not heavy as I'm used to with teriyaki and that's a good thing IMO. White rice and hot tea to compliment

cuddlysheep is right. Smoothies are NOT good for you. Especially when bought from a BS place like jamba juice or whatever. They are loooaded with a shitload of sugar and calories and since alot of the fruit is frozen and they use yogurt or sherbert, you literally might as well just eat a milkshake.
