Comfort food binge.

Had some rice bowls here at this place.. Cafe Bola.

Their version of Tapa. Sirloin strips, tomatoes, egg. It went from this...

Too hungry to wait. This was artfully presented. Adobo Flakes. Forked crispy strips of beef, tomatoes, and a local version of quese fresco.

Next logical step, after eating all that rice, was to cancel it out with more fat, hence this. Dairy Queen. Oreo.

been trying to improve my cooking, bought some good quality italian sausage at a farmers market and made a pasta sauce with it. Turned out pretty good except for me adding too much dried basil and oregano which made it taste a little cheap. will use fresh herbs next time.

just made some delicious chicken tacos..

i grilled the chicken, and the beef thats in the middle is slow cooking right now in the crock pot ..

salsa .. serranos, tomatos, onions, habeneros, everything was roasted prior to being chopped to give it that nice mushy consistency with that robust roasted taste

also made tomatillo sauce for the beef tacos

so good!

cooked like last time, for six hours with chipotle peppers and a lot of other goodness

home made salsa .. roasted everything prior to cutting and mixing it together

I have not had their poutine, but I think their pomme frites are average. The large variety of dipping sauces make it imo
