how was this show? i saw some videos of it on youtube. crowd looked really lame! i've concluded that death grips can only secret warehouse shows only-- it just makes more sense that way. the energy and mysteriousness doesn't really translate well to big, outdoor stages

saw sade last night. pshhhhhhh. killed. it. cereal. hoard. definitely one of the best concerts of my life. even the mellow loints like "your love is king" & "king of sorrow" were face melting. if you get a chance they are a definite recommendation. collared shirt. church shoes. bring a date. Kyuss Lives and The Sword are playing in late September but I haven't committed yet. Tickets are kinda overpriced IMO (~$40), and I've heard some negative things about the reformation of Kyuss without Josh Homme.

I saw Peter Hook do 'Unknown Pleasures' last year here in LA (Music Box). I recommend checking it out if you are a big Joy Division fan however it took me a bit to get used to Peter's vocals.

Was it amazing? Not really. I enjoyed it and his bass skills were on point. But considering that he played Unknown Pleasures and Closer in LA this week.... I didn't feel a bit of regret missing it.
