Officially my first post on the Forum, probably because I feel about 10x more confident talking about music than I do fashion.

Hello. :)

Been into my Dubstep since 2005 (when it didn't quite have a name yet) and repping hard in the Brighton scene since. Got some great nights here... Dubpressure since day dot, and more recently Square Roots / Sureskank. The 15k Gramps soundsystem will most likely be the death of me (but I can't say I didn't have a good run). Obviously the main action's on dubstepforum.com, but I'll help anyone out in whatever way I can.

Hold tight

you'll love it barry, definitely one of the best in the series so far. its great to see how the sound has evolved since hatcha's mix first came out almost 4 years ago now.

heh heh..

checked on google to see how well this forum's code covers *ahem* 'goodie sharin', and blow me the posts above i put up show up with the links and all?!#?!!!

if you go to BRAINKILLER FORUM Forum Index and register, a 'music downloads' thread magically appears. look in there for the Dubstep & Grime thread and you'll find some of my goodies! (and my proper nickname)

hello to you too

blimey, i used to live in brighton! where are they putting on dubstep nights? do they still have reggae on a monday night down at the volk's?

on a general note -

what exactly is this forum? i just got here via searching for dubstep and am a bit confused. is it really some kind of shopping discussion place? can that sort of thing really be so popular?

they should have a 'how the fek did you end up here?' thread in this forum:D

how did you end up here jpgm? you've got the posts so i hope you can be the person to settle these burnin' questions!

barry - superfuture was originally started as a travel/shopping guide to different cities around the world. it still does that, but i dare say the forums are by far the most widely used part/s of the website. the forums cover all bases, as you can see, but there is quite a bit of emphasis on fashion. this place is definitely the best denim resource on the net, and there are a lot of knowledgable folk here on almost anything you could imagine.

i initially came to SF years ago looking for some stores interstate/overseas, and started using the forums when searching for denim info.

hope you enjoy your stay here dude :)

so the answer is it's the best denim resource then. got to admit i didn't realise there was a whole 'denim' thing going on. i just love the net sometimes. dubstep's caused me to find out about denim! cheers for clearing that up:D

with conversations like this i think i definitely will enjoy my stay here in the (super)future! good luck to you too geez

Yes they do! The Volks rocks my sox, but I avoid Dancehall night as it's full of surly jamaican guys / hungry "thick" ladies gyrating. >_>

cosigned. I'm hoping to build my fashion sense somewhat, as a lot of people round here dress like utter mongs. but I don't want to jump in the deep end, as I feel I might fall prey to 1) intense narcissism or 2) a ruined wallet.

Trim's new CD is not as good as I hoped it would be, but is still miles above the bunch, looking forward to volume 2.

Frisco's new Mixtape is one of the most consistent and straight grimey tapes to come out in a while, lot of proper bangers on there.

Finally got Durrty Goodz Dirrty Whirl promo mixcd and it's on constant repeat. Anyone here feel him? His versatility is impressive, and his ragga flow is one of the best in grime handsdown...

Looks like this thread is turning Straight dubstep on me!

It's all good though....
