I do the shorts with jacket thing sometimes. It might be a bit chilling now (so jacket on) but you know it's gonna get hot later (hence the shorts), though acronym is prolly over doing it a bit.

to defend the guy in acr jacket and shorts. The jacket is a soft shell, which is tech material thats alot closer to a sweatshirt than a jacket. If it's springtime, It's perfectly acceptable to wear a sweatshirt with shorts, you're eager to try shorts but it's still a little cold outside, however legs have lots of muscle and can stay pretty warm, so u keep your upper body warm. This really isn;t bad at all. I think he looks really modern and well put together. reminded me of watching 20 minutes of the Island this weekend.

i only bothered to mention the brand name because this particular company justifies there outrageous pricetag with claims of unparalled performance. Maybe those claims are justified, ive never seen one in real life...but even if this fucking thing is impervious to rain, snow, sleet and gamma rays,the shorts make the jacket about as useful as a superfluous nipple.
