I believe the phrase you are looking for is more commonly referred to as a "Texan tuxedo". However, not to nit-pick but it also usually refers to a denim jacket w/ jeans as opposed to shirt. Regardless I suppose it does look fairly similar.

When I think Canadian I imagine more of a plaid lumberjack shirt with jeans, perhaps a toque as well and the requisite Sorel-style boots. Handle bar moustache and 6 pack of Labatt's optional.

doesn't matter what you think, the term canadian tuxedo is denim on denim, also referred to as a syracuse suit.

and to the dude who's making fun of the guy for wearing a 'listen to ghostface' shirt even though he may not've been old enough to run through shaolin in '92, don't be retarded.

what are the `reverse clientelles`? I got those on sale at chapter back in december. dont think they have them anymore

--- Original message by MilSpex on Apr 12, 2006 01:02 AM

When the clienteles first came out, the tongue was the elephant print and the outer was black.

Yours are the "reverse" , so the elephant print is on the outside.

Goodfoot in Canada can't get them, saying there's some problems with the designer of "Mike" and the boys at Clientele.

Can I get more info on those 501's?

"Old cut" referring to certain year(s)?

Purchased with that wash or are those just old and broken in?

Exactly what I am looking for ...

Appreciated.

something strange about PeterJ's fit. a bit of a saggy seat in the jeans, and a too-slim top. maybe it's just the photos.

this requires the sanitary disclaimer: merely my opinion, you don't need to give a damn anyway, but just so you know. icon_smile.gif

i thought those shirts were a web exclusive. between the orchard street and rivington locations, they had those drop on the web. i believe they only made 95 for $95... whatever it was the cost was equal to the print run and it was steep.

nice cd choice dude! had the pleasure of seeing ST at warped in 98, awesome awesome show! icon_smile_cool.gif

btw sxxxe - may i ask what size your normally take in jeans, what you take in raw APCs, and what size you got in those APCs?

i'm looking at getting the rescues/straight leg in the same wash, and am a 30 usually, and 28 in APC NS - but the smallest they have is 29. don't wanna bother buying it if the 29 is going to be way too big.

cheers!

1. Yes, I do know who Ghostface is. The first hip hop cd I ever bought was 36 Chambers when I was 7 years old.

2. Sorry about the pic location, I like that chair thingy.

3. I know it is hard to believe but I am 18 years old. I get shit about it all the time.
