@Broark less than a couple of months in? Coming along nicely!

@MJF9 yup, picked it up during the Black Friday sale so just about two months of owning it.
Denim seems to fade and break in really quickly.

Only complaint is that I wish the jacket was about an inch longer.
I think my size 44 measures out to 24" in length, 25" would be ideal.

That's the same length as my size 42... which I'm now wearing :)... would have expected a little more on a 44... anyway mate, from your previous pic I thought the length looked cool on you...

I've gotten used to wearing it on the shorter side, just looks weird if I'm wearing a tee that's 27" long or a button down that's 30" long...

Yeah I can get that... tucking is the future methinks... I feel weird wearing tees or shirts hanging out now!!

At some point last year I started tucking and never looked back. I am looking to get my TCB type 2 shortened to the length of the ranch blouse for this reason. It is to long to wear with high rise jeans and a tucked in shirt.

@eeejayaich yes mate good to hear you're also facing into the same first world problem!! I love my Samurai type 2 but it's 64/65 cm and just a couple of cms too long for ideal preference. I nearly replaced it with a new Freewheelers this week but then remembered I was on a no denim buy until May 2021 (* barring contest and exceptional scenarios :)). How the fudge I'll get there when I'm clucking after two months is unclear right now!

Noooo... Dec and Jan full months... chunk of Nov... arguably a quarter year if rounding up... surely deserving of a reward!

I gave my Mister Freedom black coated cowboy jacket a wash and the black is giving away to some bright blues. I’ve been curious what it’d look like after some wear and washes and it hasn’t disappointed. I also added some inside pockets using some black denim i had.

That jacket looks really nice, I guess I didn't realize it was indigo denim underneath the black. Good stuff.

Inside pockets are so clutch. Didn't know you had skills like that.

Thanks! I had some help with How to best shape the pocket but overall it’s very straightforward. I’m by no means great at sewing but i can hem jeans and trousers so this was the same level of difficulty.

Californian Lot. 64 - 13oz. shrink-to-fit, left-hand twill Cone.

I wasn't particularly motivated to grab some Cone before it fully disappears, but this struck me as having a distinctive combination of traits (and the MF sale price was terrific). The fabric is soft and slightly hairy, and has a really interesting almost silvery cast that I have neither the vocabulary nor camera skills to properly capture. For visual comparison, I paired them with some FC 1101s that have been soaked, but only worn twice.

Nice looking denim, that's a pretty good deal on the Lot 64's.
What's the best denim that's currently available? LHT Cone is tempting. The organic Cone also looks nice.
I need more jeans like a hole in the head.

Thanks @Broark I've taken something of the budget traveller approach to my small denim collection (pretty max out at $250). The sale was the only way I really saw myself getting a pair of MFs. I like the look and details of the Lot 54 BB, but the rise on a 34 or 36 looked too tall. Meanwhile most of the other Lot 64s are too narrow at the knee for me. So these were in the goldilocks zone. I'll try to get a couple better fabric close-ups in the next day or two.

Is this the current LHT Cone for this season? I thought the sale Didn’t apply to this season items?
if it does I’ll grab the LHT.
really want to compare them to my OG Cone.
good amount of leg twist after soak?

@ecsong187 to be honest, I didn't pay attention to which season they came from because I kept thinking I was going to get the Lot 54 BB, but they are the "current" LHT with the indigo plaid pocket bags, etc. It looks like they might have been part of the Fall /Winter 2019. Hopefully this means you can compare away!
