Mister Freedom

Recommended Posts

Got here in time for my trip, very happy! The fit is surprisingly what I hoped for, and will receive a lot of wear.

Just ordered the green denim naval chinos from Japan. I'd have been perfectly happy buying from the MF site but they never made it to the site it seems.

Can anyone here convince me that the olive green COP is a great shirt?

I was going to order the indigo COP from Japan but is't not available. So it's olive or nothing.

I understand the new fabric is not as stiff as the indigo one. Can it be worn ticked in? And how does green match with blue jeans? I guess with the color, there won't be much to expect interns of fading or breaking in...

It's a great fabric and it goes great with denim. It was previously used in a version of the garrison shirt. Personally, I like the green denim garrison shirt a lot more than the CPO, but that's me...

I've had the olive CPO for several years. I love it, mostly use it for an overrshirt. I saw the navy and the olive, the olive was my choice. Great fabric either way.

Regards to stiffness, I feel I could stand my olive CPO on it's own, very stiff.

You might be thinking of another shirt, the olive CPO just came out this fall.

That green denim is pretty lightweight - 10oz IIRC. (Of course, that's pretty light weight for pants. That's a very respectable weight for a denim shirt.)

The new cowboy jacket (sans deco), still wet from its soak. I like it! Thanks to the enablers here...

Completely saturated with indigo...

We just booked the flight for our next US vacation so I was checking out parking at the MF store in LA, seems like Google caught the man himself :D

My double indigo Appaloosa is finally showing some wear, need to take photos of it. I like those Organic Cone Lot 64’s as well, should’ve taken advantage of the MF sale. :D

Well due to the unfortunate coaxing of @Broark I now have an original midnight CPO on the way from buyee. Pics fit and otherwise will be posted once it arrives!

Managed to pick up a very lightly used CPO from the original run in the midnight denim. Really awesome shirt, but I’m still trying to figure out how to wear it, the length in the front and back throws me off a little bit

I picked up a pair of Lot. 44's over the holidays. I'm thinking about taking a seam ripper to the back pockets; has anyone done that with their MFs, and if so, could you please share a photo? I'm wondering if it would look awkward... Also, is there minimal "shrinkage" with their pre-washed denim and should I bother to wash again before hemming or is there no point?

@longshanks that's a good looking shirt - out of interest, is it tuckable? Given some shirts are the right weight and long enough to tuck whilst others are the other way - just wondered where this CPO sits on that spectrum.

Got a brand new Mister Freedom N1-h in black size 40 that has been worn exactly once and shows absolutely no signs of wear.  This thing is absolutely incredible, but I just never have a chance to wear it - I live in LA and have way too many jackets.

Measurements on the MF site are spot on.

$600 shipped in the US.  Ask me about other countries.

Lemme know if you have any questions or need more pics!

I have a new Mister Freedom blue NOS chambray shirt for sale, size XL. I ordered it from a store in Japan during the holidays but the sizing didn't quite work for me. Has been taken out of its packaging, tried on once, and then folded up and placed back in the packaging. Please see the below link for sizing and pictures. I am selling for $160, continental US shipping included. Also willing to ship internationally but shipping will be extra. I am also available to meet up in the LA area if someone local is interested. Trades for other shirts (particularly madras or other patterned shirts) welcome
