thanks

better measurement after a couple hours of wear.

thigh 11.50 measured from the crotch to the outer seam, 12.50 measured from the crotch to the outer edge when lying flat.

the hem width is 9.5.

I guess I'll follow Hoggie's advice and wear them til the first wash before choosing what to do with the hem.

I live in a small village in the inland of Liguria called Ellera, it's about 5 km from the sea and 40 km from the main city of the region, Genoa, which is very worth a visit if you ever come to northern Italy.

here we go with post soak measurements:

waist 17.5

thigh 11.25

front rise 11

inseam 32 (exacltly as as I asked)

these turned up a little tighter in the waist than what Hajime told me, but for me it's even better, being usually just in between size 34 and 36. general advice is to go tts or if in doubt a size bigger, as these are definitely not vanity sized!

as you can detect from the smile I couldn't really be happier with these jeans! the denim looks fantaboulous from day one, with a beautiful deep blue hue, the fit is very comfortable and the cut is possibly the most versatile style I own, not too tight but definitely not sloppy. only concern so far is the inseam, I went for a 32 iknseam thinking to wear these jeans with my usual double cuff or a hefty single cuff but it seems to me that this cut really begs to be worn in the "grown man" style, with no cuffs at all.. I'll wear them for a few weeks and then take a decision..

happy days!

Great post-soak fit Volvo, really digging the cut and denim.

thanks Mich, they're a great pair of jeans and I'm totally in love with them. Fit is great and the rise sits very well on me, I can also wear them without a belt.

they'll be definitely part of my "official summer 2013 uniform" being lightweight and not tight. Look forward to see the evolution on these, they should be quite fast faders according to what I seen on the TCb website..

It is so rare to see this level of detail in a "behind the scenes" look.

Pre-soak pics! (i'm 179cm, 93kg)

I usually never wear 60's cuts (too big legs), but seeing measurements i gamled with these.

60's maybe a bit too tight, i hope they don't shrink very much, then it should work..   :P

Meh got bored, so 50's soaked & dry. B)   (2h hotsoak- > drying cabinet 40 min -> dryer 30 min)

50's - 34w

Waist:  87 cm    -> 84

FR:      32 cm    -> 30

BR:      40.5 cm -> 39

Thigh:  34 cm    -> 32.5

Knee:   26 cm    -> 25

Hem:    24.5cm   -> 23.5

Inseam 87 cm     -> 83

Still stiff & crunchy, waist got a bit tight but it's zimbabwe cotton so should stretch alot. TTS is a good choice on these.

Hey Rusty, not much really, but I just started to wear them hard last week, they were still too long after soak so I had to bring them to the tailor for a further hem. But their raw hue is so beatiful that I have no rush to see some evolution!

Here's a quick photo

Post-soak measurements.

60's - 34w

Waist:  88 cm     -> 85

FR:      28 cm     -> 26.5

BR:      36.5 cm  -> 35.5

Thigh:  32 cm     -> 31

Knee:   25.3 cm  -> 24.5

Hem:    23cm       -> 22.2

Inseam 87 cm      -> 83

I can button them pretty easy so TTS works on these too.

Can also go up 1 size for a little more relaxed & a bit higher rise.

=> normal stretch, waist stretches to a few cm over presoak if needed.

50's shrunk up nice, really solid cut post-soak. Not too baggy & perfect rise imo.

60's maybe a little low rise.. but that blue fabric..

I'm very happy with both !
