actually this brand looks really cool.

http://translate.google.com/translate?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.tasukijeans.com%2Fbrand7.html&langpair=ja%7Cen&hl=en&ie=UTF8

from what google translate tells me, they make jeans with a 17oz denim, and use 0 size thread so the stitching looks nice and thick ( well it is ). Also they make a black denim that is rope dyed ( i think.. ) and is designed to fade.

nice find chan..

These look really nice, I wish I could afford to take the plunge on them.

EDIT: ugh they're way too short, 33.6 :-\

i read something on this thread about gardener. anybody here has some experience with the sizing?

i love their red tab, it says ueki's but appears to say levi's

uekisbs9.th.jpg

That is even more blatant than Evis.

"honestly your honour, it's just a coincidence that Ueki's looks a little like Levi's with that font"

I don't think they will have survived the lawsuit....

I'm sure this brand has not been mentioned here before.

Here is an example of what they produce:

these are made by friends of the denimjunkie if I'm not mistaking...

However warp is firmly rope staining for the charity,

Steady sharp fall fashion is fun

Features.

If they make this in the TA70002 cut then i bet someone may be tempted to take the plunge ( but then no one has posted the black somets slims yet...). They also say the indigo denim is supposed to fall vertically. It does appear like structure denim does.

nice find chan..

Stiching is not 0 size but rather size 6. It says contruction threads are 0 sized. Just a clarification for you.

what does that mean?

It means that the stiching that you see uses size 6 thread and the threads on the inside that hold the jeans together are size 0.

As mentioned already the smaller the number the larger the thread. A special machine is needed to do 0 thread sewing which is why you don't see it often. The largest standard thread you will see is 6, most jeans use 8.

So we all know Sugarcane use sugarcane fibers in their jeans, John Bull contain 18% hemp, and Kohzo use all sorts of fibers.

Heres another

http://64.233.179.104/translate_c?hl=en&langpair=ja%7Cen&u=http://item.rakuten.co.jp/hinoya/sz-02/

STUDIO ZERO at hinoya

60% cotton, 40% hemp

I like most of the details except the horrid back pocket design, ugh.... get the feeling everyones saying this more and more nowadays.

Anyhow, there they are.

hmm the denim isnt very slubby, really smooth. the closest thing that i can compare it to is a pair of SDA103s(raw) in terms of feel, kinda soft and smooth. 4 button fly a little tight right now just trying to break them in for a couple hours to see if they arent as stiff.

measurements are as follows tag 30

waist 30

front rise 11

back rise 13

thigh 11

knee 8.5

hem 8

inseam 33

tasukifitfs8.jpg

going to start mixing these in with the contest jeans

Nice details on those higuma jeans... good find.

I remember commenting on the strike gold jeans when they were posted here before. Did anyone buy these? Are they something to do with samurai? They look very nice, but seem to be pretty low rise, or is it just the picture?
