So I understand now from Hiroshi that the number 3 on the patch stands for size 3.

Size 0 - 28/30 inches waist

Size 1 31/32 inches waist

Size 2 33/34 inches waist

Size 3 35/36 inches waist

from a moment I thought this was the third pair he ever sold...

Cross-posting this from Simple Questions:

Does anyone here have experience with Graph Zero / Heart Made Base? They've come up recently when searching around for info on Nihon Menpu's in-house brand, and some of their products and collaborations seem really great. These, in particular, have piqued my interest: http://graph-zero.com/?pid=112582973. Looking for any further info / anecdotes.

I just bought a Jelado shirt from Wolfpack and they sent me a catalog for Jelado's 2018 Spring and Summer offerings.  Wolfpack hosted the brand last weekend as a trunk show.  Some of the stuff looks ok while others look it was geared towards hipsters (including the model wearing the clothes).

Anybody have any experience with the 44 denim JP94310 from Jelado? This would probably be my next denim purchase in the coming months.  Trying to decipher the differences in measurements of the one wash versions from accompanying webshops:

Also, any experience with the raw version of the 55 denim JP 94303 as well?

these jelado jawnz have always been fine af and subtly repro faithful in shapes aren't they? megatron had the right idea trying to bring 'em in to the western market, no kipple just didn't style 'em right. or perhaps their target market is more denimbro than sufu or the ih army. i'm all for you getting all the jelados you desire so i can live vicariously through you. ;D

LOL as soon as Megatron stopped posting here, so did the Jelado posts.  I did laugh at the  Heddels write up on the 55 jean, a repro similar to 501.

I follow the founder of Jelado on Instagram and he's still active in the kickboxing community.  He is definitely a guy you don't want to piss off in a alley!

Shot in the dark here and hoping for a little bit of feedback.
Yawara Miura (through his YM Factory brand) has been making this closed front jumper reproduction and I'm stuck deciding between 42 and 44.
I'm about 6'3", 215~220 pounds and while the 44 looks super wide I'm wondering if I should go for it based on body and sleeve length alone.
Leaning towards the 42 just because the measurements make more sense with what I'm used to in the body, but I've never worn or tried on a jacket/shirt like this.
Also the sleeve length seems incredibly short, maybe taken from the under-arm?
Here are the measurements he provided me:
42: Shoulders: 55 cm., Chest: 62 cm., Length: 71 cm., Sleeves: 58.5 cm.
44: Shoulders: 58 cm., Chest: 65 cm., Length: 72.5 cm., Sleeves: 59 cm.
And here are some photos. Any help or suggestions or thoughts would be much appreciated!

Hey @Broark fwiw when I've seen this style of shirt before it's been boxy and on the shorter side in both body and sleeve length.

The Bureau Belfast have a similar shirt atm (in Irish linen rather than denim) - worth having a look at the fit pics and measurements here - maybe the comparison can help... https://www.thebureaubelfast.com/shop/9719/natural-irish-linen-popover-shirt.

I recall Post O'alls did a similar army shirt too so would be worth looking that up for comparison as I nearly went for one. I've seen this style worn layered before which looks good. Your denim version here looks pretty good. What denim is he using?

The shoulder measurement will need to work if you size down...

Good luck... keep us posted!

Betty Smith would be a brand that surprisingly not many people know about considering they have the oldest stitching factory in Kojima.

Sorry if this is considered self promotion but I recently went to visit them and blogged about it at https://www.shibajeans.com/blog/betty-smith-handmade-jeans/

I have more pics on my instagram https://www.instagram.com/shibajeans/

If anybody has any questions I am happy to answer :)

nice one! many thanks.

I believe there must be a feature about the Betty Smith Jeans Museum and their custom jeans buried in one of the threads somewhere...

I think they were made for the John Mung Museum in Japan and seem to have been based on an original description, drawing, picture or garment from that museum.

given the initial price, I would think it was a very limited rum...
