i am in love with each and everyone of those cartoonish sweaters...

most of them would kill with a white shirt underneath...

EDIT: for the sake of the board....

I'm just wondering... can we not do the whole "where can I cop" thing here? This isn't supershopper, I feel discussions here should try to downplay the whole consumer side of fashion and talk about the design and how-to-wear/take-care of said design pieces?

Yohji is my favorite designer, he consistenly brings us great collections. I absolutely love asian culture (anime, cars, food, girls, and porn lol) and I especially like those cartoon sweaters. I agree with Fuuma, the lavendar sweater is the most striking piece out of the whole collection and the chick on it just looks so tasty... mmm... eurasian with a badunkadunk! The only drawback is I couldn't wear the sweater to japanese culture club or anime club at school, I'd be the victim of a bukkauke frenzy with that hot chick on my chest.. lol!

Great timing for this collection to drop! I just raised my high school GPA to a 2.3 so my dad owes me $1,000 as part of our do well in school contract. I might spend all the money on Yohji =))))

btw. where/when can I cop???

Your dad drops 1G on you just when you can get a C average? WTF? Get your priorities straight kid.

Edit: Sorry for derailing the tread. In short, comparing N(N) with YY is like comparing apples and oranges. One designer is legend and forfront leader in a mature romantized aesthetic and the other is a new jack (but very good stylist) with a strange obsession with Johnny Cash/rock and roll...

i have a feeling this comment wasn't so much a serious post, but rather a (lame attempt) at taking a cheap shot at me.

Pathetic...

?? do you know lms?

no, i don't...but the way he worded the post, i think he was mocking me apparently by implying i'm some kind of underachiever who spends all his parents' money on Yohji. I mean, read that post again...that can't be serious.

man maybe i'm being paranoid or whatever but lately i'm feeling a lot of unnecessary heat in my direction. if y'all don't like my posts, just ignore them...i don't feel like getting into any kind of confrontation.

Have a hard time getting behind those knits, too cartoon with no graphic edge (that's knitting for you, no pop). That pair of boots fade posted would look great on Darkanimal.

i wasn't so much comparing the brands' aesthetics, i was commenting more on how despite coming out on the same day, i had a feeling that on the internet, among fashion followers the N(N) was probably gonna get more attention just because it seems to be a hot label right now...whereas Yohji i usually get the sense he's always under the radar.

Oh I get it, then we're in complete agreement. As paradoxal as it may sound, considering the cartoon sweaters, I think Yamamoto's audience is on average more mature than the typical SF member. In other words; it certainly gets recognition but it's not the brand people are looking for on these boards, which is totally fine.
