Raw + black does not compare to indigo. 'cept, APPARENTLY, some black raw denim producers use certain weft/weave strands (check superdenim, I could be incorrect about this) which resemble the fading patterns of raw indigo.

Jeans are so heavily creased because I soaked to rid starch and improve the general strength/longevity of the jeans. (Thx superdenim.) Didn't do it for shrinkage since Imperials are sanforised. That's why the combs are so cut; when they were damp, barely had to do much in terms of walking/sitting in order to get that. More and more natural wear (3months straight) just made 'em sharper.
