i think tie bars are cool if you are doing the full-blown thom browne concept

for a denim jacket, type 3 jacket is the right idea because it's slimmer than a type 2 in your slim shirt + trousers concept, ...

but i think a type 2 jacket might look better, to play with the proportions more, i think. just my thoughts
