There is Assin in Paddington but not really much else in terms of designer end of the market along with those you mention above. December is a good time to come and enjoy beaches etc though as Sydney is definitely a summer city.

Anyone read this any more? Final 2 weeks of sale at Assin. So much good stuff still. Come and say hi.

Could someone recommend a good alterations place in the city? specifically for hemming denim, I've had jeans shortened before but they looked pretty shitty and obviously altered!

What type of accommodation are you looking for?

Party house that holds a dozen, or something intimate and romantic?

Does anyone know of a proxy service in Sydney, or anyone that could ship Ksubi jeans to the states? Please PM me if possible, thanks!

All of the Ksubi stores have shut down and operations are moving to the states. Lucky you. If you want something specific from current season drop me a PM and I'll see what I can do but I can't imagine anything being available locally that isn't online.

last time i asked there weren't any good recs. again in need of a tailor to alter a coat. also a place to clean/wash my leather jackets. sent a few to my local dry cleaner who uses a specialist. but they always turn out dry with a little fading.

so, any legit new players who have popped up recently?

Went to the uniqlo pop-up on Pitt st today. Not much in there. Cashmere v-necks, down jackets, flannel shirts and maybe some tee's.... and 100 Chinese students who couldn't decide what colour down jacket to buy.

anyone dealt with supply store before?

i bought a black tshirt from them online and explicitly requested an exchange for the same black tshirt in a different size (as you would)

they instead sent me a white tshirt that i never wanted or asked for, rather than inform me that the black one i wanted sold out.

call me petty, but i pay for what i want - and this isnt it

it has been almost 3 weeks and they won't respond, even after a repeated email

wat do??

they finally replied

Anywhere new and exciting to eat? My routine for the last 12months has been, hartsyard, porteno

, momofuku.

Check out Russo and Russo on Enmore rd. Been up for two years now, I think. It's not ground breaking or experimental, but its fucking good food, good drinks and good digs.

And if you're in the Inner West, Oscillate Wildly and Sixpenny are definitely worth a look.
